Nothing on it constitutes organizational, management, legal, financial, or other professional advice, and it should not be relied on as a substitute for advice tailored to your circumstances. Frameworks, case material, and commentary published here describe approaches used in specific engagements and may not be appropriate for yours.

No consulting relationship

Viewing the Site, downloading material from it, or contacting us through it does not create a consulting, advisory, or other professional relationship between you and Margó Banse LLC. Such a relationship is established only through a signed written agreement.

Confidentiality of what you send us

Please do not send confidential or proprietary information through the contact form or by email before a written engagement or confidentiality agreement is in place. Information you send before then is not treated as confidential, and sending it does not create any obligation of confidentiality on our part. Once an engagement is underway, client materials, relationships, and strategic information are treated as confidential under the terms of that engagement.

Intellectual property

All content on the Site — including text, copy, frameworks, methodologies, case studies, graphics, logo, and the overall design and arrangement — is owned by Margó Banse LLC or used under license, and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws.

You may view the Site and share links to it, and you may print or download individual pages for your own internal, non-commercial reference. You may not reproduce, republish, distribute, adapt, sell, or otherwise exploit any part of the Site, or use its content to develop or market competing services, without our prior written permission. Acceptable use

You agree not to use the Site to violate any law; to attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Site or its systems; to interfere with its operation or security; to scrape, harvest, or extract content by automated means; to introduce malicious code; or to submit false, misleading, or unlawful information through any form.‍ ‍

Availability

‍To the fullest extent permitted by law, Margó Banse LLC and its members, officers, and agents will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, data, business, or goodwill, arising out of or relating to your use of or inability to use the Site — regardless of the theory of liability and even if advised of the possibility of such damages. Our total aggregate liability arising out of or relating to the Site will not exceed one hundred U.S. dollars ($100). Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.‍ ‍

This limitation applies to the Site only. Liability arising from a signed engagement agreement is governed by that agreement.‍ ‍

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Margó Banse LLC from any claims, damages, losses, and reasonable expenses arising out of your misuse of the Site or your violation of these terms or applicable law.

Governing law and venue

These terms are governed by the laws of the District of Columbia, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles. Any dispute arising out of or relating to the Site or these terms will be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in the District of Columbia, and you consent to the jurisdiction of those courts.

Changes to these terms‍ ‍

We may update these terms from time to time. The effective date above will reflect the most recent version, and your continued use of the Site after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

Severability

‍If any provision of these terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in full effect.
